At long last the government has announced 1st of August 2011as the start date for incentive payments towards the cost of renewable technologies.
Ground source heat pumps £1250 grant (for homes without mains gas heating)
Air Source heat pumps £950 grant (for homes without mains gas heating)
Solar hot water thermal £300 grant (Available to all households regardless of the type of heating system used)
In 2012 the FITS payment system will be available for all installations. Payment details of amount of energy generated yet to be announced.
